Demi Lovato

Demetria Demetria "Demi" Lovato was raised in Dallas, Texas. Her parents are Patrick Martin Lovato and Dianna Dela Garza. Demi began as a kid actor on 'Barney & Friends'. Demi and her husband were cast in the film Camp Rock in 2007. They also had a tiny part in the series 'As the Bell Rings'. While shooting Camp Rock, Demi Lovato recorded three songs for the film's soundtrack and has been releasing solo singles in the years since. Lovato got the part of Sonny with a Chance in 2009, another Disney Channel program. After that, they joined the ranks of an official judge on the TV reality TV show The X Factor in 2012 and 2013. Their mom Dianna Lovato was a country music recording artist. Lovato is also a former Dallas Cowboys' cheerleader. Amber is their half-sister on their father's side.
