Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of the children and only daughter born to Richard McCormick in 1956 - was born at Woodland Hills (California) on 5 August. Her mother was at home and was an aspiring mother-in-law who was a stay-at-home mom. She has three older brothers: Michael, Dennis and Kevin. From a young stage of life, McCormick loved to sing and dance. She also often stage puppet shows to entertain the children of the neighborhood.
