Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she took flute lessons and the harpsichord over three years. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went in part-time jobs to increase her budget. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability compared to her student classmates and she pondered what alternative route she could take. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. The singer was the primary singer of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. The band was where she met Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work on her first solo album Diva that was released in 1992. The album received a lot of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was launched in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I'm Letting You Go...
