The actress is known for playing Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy in the Dawson's Creek series. For three years she was Marina Cooper in the soap opera Guiding Light a role which was rewarded with an Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination in 2003 for Outstanding newcomer. Dollar was on screen as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until 2008 on the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club. She starred in NBC's 2012 program pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked up.
